PASSER-LARS were awarded a long term extension of rental contract for their 2000Te carousel spread to support Global Marine with onshore cable storage for multiple offshore cable projects.

PASSER-LARS were responsible for engineering and project management involved with moving the carousel, loading tower, and tensioner to a dedicated load bearing slab at Port of Blyth, and are providing ongoing engineering and operational support as required.

The carousel used with modular partition system has been used to store various sections of cable from several large offshore windfarm and interconnector projects, including the Danish Kriegersflak Offshore Wind Farm, Pentland Firth Interconnector cables, and others.
